Our policy is to attempt to assist families so that no child is deprived of a Catholic education. For families wishing to apply for assistance, please follow the process through the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment system. FACTS conducts the financial need analysis for us. All supporting documentation can be uploaded in PDF format online. There is a FACTS application fee of $35.00, this needs to be paid at the time of application. *Diocese of Lansing Grant ($750):An eligible student must show a financial need of at least $750.00 for elementary, must be Catholic, attend a Diocese of Lansing school, and belong to a parish in the Diocese of Lansing.
*The Venerable Augustus Tolton Scholarship ($500): An eligible student must be African American or Black and show a need of at least $500.00 over and above the $750 for Diocesan Grants.
*The Saint Jose Luis Sanchez del Rio Scholarship ($500): An eligible student must be Hispanic and show a need of a least $500.00 over and above the $750.00 for Diocesan Grants.
*St. Michael Tuition Assistance Fund: This is open to any family with a student entering K-8th grade at St. Michael Catholic School who shows a financial need.
*Knights of Columbus Scholarship ($500): An eligible family must have a student entering K-8th grade at St. Michael Catholic School who shows a financial need. Applications for this scholarship may be obtained by contacting the
St. Michael Catholic School offers the RaiseRight Scrip program. The program that works while you shop. This is a way to earn rebates toward tuition by purchasing gift cards. 86% of what you earn directly goes towards the payment of tuition. Click here for details of this program.
