I attended Kalamazoo College a long time ago and received a degree in political science and French. I worked in the hospitality industry for several years and then went back to school at Spring Arbor University to get my teaching credentials. I have a master's degree in education which I completed in 2009. I have been a part of the St. Michael teaching staff since 2003. I spent twelve years in 5th grade, eight years in 4th grade, and now I teach 3rd grade. My husband, David, and I have attended St. Michael since the mid 90’s, and I became Catholic through the RCIA program in the spring of 2003. Both of our sons attended school here and are now married and have their own children. In my free time, I like to babysit my grandkids, read historical fiction, knit, and spend time up north. My faith continues to grow as my students and I read and learn about God’s love for us. I feel blessed to be here!
